Happy Tails 2010

Ty

Ty has gone to his new home, and as you can tell he is very much adored. His new family wrote:
He is settling in nicely as part of our family now. He ALWAYS wants to be with all 4 of us, and he gets a little out of sorts when one of us is missing. He has a curious nature, and we have to remind him of the rules on occasion, but it just adds to his personality. He really does mind us very well, and you can tell he loves being a part of our family.
We are happy to hear that Ty has now found a forever home to call his own.

Addie

Addie came to her forever home as a foster. Her foster family fell in love with her the very first day she arrived and they couldn't bare to give her up! Addie loves wrestling with her new fur brother and sister, chasing balls and learning new tricks. She is spoiled rotten with tons of love, exercise, and treats-- all pleasures she desperately deserves after such a hard start in life. Addie and her new family thank ABR from the bottom of their hearts for bringing them all together!

BeBe

The BIGGEST Christmas present ever is BeBe the "Busy Bee" found a permanent home for Christmas! She is so happy in her new home with a skin brother and skin sister who is in college and 2 skin parents that love having a dog! Another good thing...is she gets to stay in the same neighborhood as her foster family so they will get to see her grow and mature into a beautiful white Boxer girl that wiggles just like a bee buzzes! Life is good for the BeBe!

Bo

Sweet little Bo got a family for Christmas! What a wonderful gift. Or maybe it’s the other way around. Perhaps Roxy, Bo’s fur sister and former ABR rescue herself, got the best Christmas present, a fur brother that she loves. Bo and his new sister hit if off from the beginning. Reports are that they are having a ball playing with one another. This is going to be a happy and energetic Christmas for this family. We are so happy this deserving boxer boy has found his loving and forever home. Merry Christmas, Bo!

Clementine

Clementine has found her forever home, and it couldn’t be a better match!! Clementine came to ABR from animal control with a case of mange and a high fever. After several weeks of care and lots of medicine, she was ready to go home! Her forever family found her on the website and came to Boxerstock hoping to meet her (which they did!) It was love at first sight! Clementine, now Lillee Mae, is particularly fond of the young girl that is in her new family (she was an early Christmas present – she must have been a very good girl this year), and really enjoys snuggling and playing with her. We are thrilled that she has found such a loving home and family to take care of her!

Apollo

Successful Boxerstock Match Makes this Christmas Extra-Special!

When Atlanta Boxer Rescue Volunteer Jan Klos went to Boxerstock 2010, she didn’t know that she would find her Forever Boxer,  Apollo, there. Her beloved Boxer, Savannah had passed 1 1/2 years ago, and she was long past being “ready to love” again; some adoptions had come close but fell through.

But it was LOVE at First Site at Boxerstock when she saw Apollo, a 3 year old owner -surrender, with his foster mom, Jennifer. Didn’t want to get her hopes up too much, but put in the application and by the next week, Apollo arrived at his new Forever Home.  It was like he had ALWAYS been there, making this Christmas EXTRA special for them both, bringing something only a new Family Member like Apollo can -Unconditional Love.

Merriest of Christmases & Thank You to All Boxer Lovers,  Tireless Volunteers,  & Foster Homes!

Sophia

Sophia was rescued from animal control death row just in the nick of time. She was on the brink of death, malnourished, dehydrated, would not eat or drink, no joy, no spark, no tail wag. After several days of receiving food and water through a syringe, she finally decided she wanted to live! Little by little, the Boxer spark emerged from this sweet little girl. A wonderful family found her on the ABR website and just knew she was the girl for them. And she was. She is now in their loving home, being spoiled, and bringing joy each day to this family. We are so happy for Sophia!

Ellis

Funny, adorable Ellis has a wonderful new home with a couple that adopted their Boxer, Otis, from ABR last year. They recently fostered for us to see how Otis would do with another dog in the house. He really blossomed and came out of his shell. As soon as the foster was adopted, Otis began acting out in unusual ways. He was telling his parents, "I want a doggie friend!" They really connected with Ellis' photo and bio and the two boys played non-stop during the entire hour of their first meeting. We're thrilled for Ellis and his family. A happy ending for all!

Walker

Our big handsome boy Walker, has now gone to his forever home where he has a cute fur sister to spend his days with! He came into rescue a little worse for wear after testing positive for heartworms, but now he is done with treatment and ready to get on with his new life. This story had a happy ending, and ABR is glad that we had a hand in helping this boy get a second chance at life.

Layla

Layla, our sweet sassy gal, has found her forever home! She captured our hearts with her adorable face and beauty. Her life has definitely turned around since she came to ABR from animal control, abandoned and covered in fleas. She now has a great family and a fur brother to give her all of the love that she deserves. We are so happy for Layla.

Gypsy

Gypsy has found a fantastic forever home. Her new dad had recently lost his 12 year old boxer to cancer. When he read Gypsy's bio, he thought she might be the dog for him. Within minutes of meeting her, he knew she was the dog for him. He is so excited to have a boxer again. We will miss our sweet Gypsy but are thrilled she has found her forever home.

Amos

A letter from Amos' new family:

We have been searching for the perfect boxer addition to our family for some time. When we saw Amos online and then met him in person we knew that it was the perfect match. Amos has a new 3 year old Boston Terrier brother (Bailey) who he plays with all day. They love to sunbathe in the backyard or wrestle in the house. They are inseparable. We are so thrilled to have such a loving and playful addition to the family and to finally have found the perfect playmate for Bailey. We are incredibly grateful to ABR and Amos' foster family for bringing him to us!

Hudson

Hudson has found his forever home! The lucky boy has a new fur sister (a tiny little Chihuahua). The new parents that so excited they got such a sweet, handsome, and fun dog. They love watching him play “and being his boxer self.” They report he has captured his skin Mom’s heart (from the picture I saw of him being Dad’s lapdog, I think it’s safe to say he has Dad’s heart too). The extended family and the new vet say he say he’s a teddy bear because of his sweet, playful disposition! They are looking forward to play dates with the family’s energetic Jack Russell Terrier. It will be interesting to see who lasts longer!

Roxy

After the loss of their Boxer-mix, this couple found themselves without a canine companion for the first time in 25 years. After a few months, they knew they couldn't go another day without the love and companionship that only a dog can give. They had fallen in love with the boxer traits of their previous dog (a shelter rescue) and decided to adopt from from ABR. They wound up with Roxy, a teeny Boxer girl who is affectionate, playful and sweet as can be. Her hip dysplasia didn’t scare them off and she has flourished in their care, behaving like a perfect little lady. They look forward to giving their spirited girl a friend by adding a second Boxer child to their family very soon. Whoever they get will be one lucky dog!

Enzo

Sweet, mellow Enzo has found a fabulous forever home. His new family has a 2 year old coon hound/lab mix, a 12 year old pug, 2 boys (ages 6 and 8), a stay-at-home mom, and a dad who teaches (and can sometimes come home early). When the family first saw Enzo on line, they thought he was so handsome. When they met him, they fell in love with his sweet personality and mellow disposition. Their coon hound Sam is happy to now have a playmate who can play (their senior pug just isn't up to it anymore). The family is thrilled to have added Enzo to their pack. We are thrilled he will have a forever home where he is valued and loved.

Java

Java was so excited to see her new mom and dad again. She "showered" them with kisses and gave lots of tail wags. Java's new home has a great yard to run and play in. She will now reside with another female boxer, Chelsea, who is one. I foresee many years of romping in the yard, chasing tennis balls, and dog wrestling in their future. We are so happy Java has found a forever home with a fur friend and great parents!

Brutus

When there is love at first sight, all the preconceived notions go out the window! That was what happened with Brutus' new dad. He had stopped by to meet Jewel - "a small female with docked tail" but when he and Brutus met each other they knew they were meant to be together! Brutus walked over to his future dad, said hello then laid down with his head on his leg and went to sleep. Brutus' new dad is excited to welcome this big guy into his life where he plans to spend time relaxing with Brutus, introducing him to the other dogs in the doggy play area in his complex, and hanging out together being best buds!

Brandi

A letter from Brandi's new mom:

Lucy (formally Brandi) is a wonderful addition to our family!  She is the most affectionate dog in the world. Lucy loves to give kisses to her mom and dad.  She even kisses her fur brothers, Brodie and Deuce!  We are so grateful to ABR for helping us find our sweet girl!

Candi

On September 21, 2010, Candi found her permanent home! She has two fur brothers (Chauncey and Mickey) and a skin brother! She doesn't like to let her Dad out of her sight and she loves jumping up on the couch with her skin brother. She lives near a park with a walking trail and a dog park! How good is that for a Boxer!

Turbo

Turbo, the handsome dog found running with a pack of dogs in northern Georgia, now has a family to call his own. He has a mom who runs (yeah for him), a dad who is an expert belly rubber, and two kids who love all of his kisses. We are so happy his runs will now be on a leash with his forever mom and that he has a safe place to lay his head.

Sophie

Sophie, who came to us with kennel cough and was heartworm positive, has found a wonderful loving home. This sweet girl has come a long way. She now has two skin siblings and a Mommy and Daddy that will shower her with affection and love. From the minute they saw her, they knew she was the dog for them. Her foster mom will miss her dearly but couldn't be happier for Sophie. She is now part of a forever family.

Chloe

Chloe was saved by ABR on the day she was supposed to be put down. She didn't seem to have much human love in her short life, but that didn't stop her from being a boxer lovebug. We are happy to report that after 3 months of waiting, Chloe has finally found her perfect forever home. And she can tell you the saying is true: Good things come to those who wait! Chloe has a new dad who is ready to spoil her rotten. She was welcomed with a new bed, toys and lots of treats. Her dad is excited to show her off at the dog area in his apartment. We know Chloe will repay his love and kindness with lots of boxer wiggles and kisses.

Louie

A warm loving home...something we don't usually think twice about. But for dogs who find themselves without one, like Louie did, it means everything. We are happy to report that our sweet Louie has finally found his forever home...a home where he will have constant companionship, plenty of exercise and lots of love and affection. His new family consists of a fur sister (don't they look like siblings?), a skin brother and parents that knew right away that he was the boxer for them! While his foster fur sisters and foster mom will miss him terribly, we are super excited that he will be able to spend his golden years with such a wonderful family. Good luck sweet Louie!

Sarge

Sarge, who came to ABR as a heartworm positive, day away from death stray, is now in a great home. He has an owner who loves the outdoors. Sarge will accompany his owner on hikes and camping trips in the woods. Sarge will soon have a boxer playmate of his very own. Sarge has found a terrific forever home and we are so happy for them.

Cane

Our sweet boy Cane managed to immediately beg his way into the hearts of his new family. He has a cat brother whom he doesn't seem to mind and a loving Mommy and Daddy who plan to spoil him, as he so deserves. His adoptive Mommy stated she "felt like a kid on Christmas Eve" the night before the adoption. We couldn't be happier that this big teddy bear of a boy has found his forever home with such an amazing family!

Gordon

Bacardi Whiskey Bandit, (formerly Gordon), was confiscated from a home in North Georgia where he and multiple other emaciated dogs were found chained up in the back yard without access to food, water, or shade. The lovely folks at Cleveland Veterinary Hospital fell in love with this happy-go-lucky, affectionate boy and contacted ABR. His foster mom only had him for 10 days when she took him along on a home visit for potential adopters. In a serendipitous course of events, the home visit turned into an adoption meeting! The couple in question was looking for a playmate for their young white Boxer, Sugar Ray. It was love at first sight with Sugar Ray and Whiskey; they stuck together like velcro. Sugar Ray picked Whiskey to be his new brother and his parents had the wisdom to go along with his decision. They enjoy running at the local park and wear each other out playing from morning til night. Their oldest brother, a 14-yr old Spaniel mix, is thrilled to have Sugar Ray off his back. And Whiskey is thrilled to have a wonderful new family that will give him the life he deserves.

Molly & Maisy

Molly and Maisy are excited to be in their new home. They came to us because their previous owner could not spend enough time with them, and he was gracious enough to want more for them. They are sweet girls who do everything together. They do not know a stranger and love kids. They crave affection and attention and give it back as well. Molly and Maisy are typical boxers in that they want to be with you all the time, and there is some serious butt wiggling that goes on when they are excited. It was love at first sight with these girls!

Buddy

How this handsome boy ended up in animal control is beyond us. Maybe it's because his former owners didn't care to keep him around anymore...but whatever the reason, we're glad that we were able to get him into rescue and into his forever home. After finishing his heartworm treatment, Buddy - now renamed Tybee - or Ty for short, has found a loving home who as you can see has fallen head over heels in love! We're so happy for this boy to have finally found a home to call his own.

JD

We are so happy that JD has found his new home. His new family just adores him and he will get the love and attention he so deserves!

Maggie

Maggie was saved in the nick of time! This affectionate, mellow girl was picked up from the shelter by ABR the very day she was to be euthanized for lack of space. Her new mom had seen her photo on the shelter's website and as soon as she found out that Maggie was rescued, she knew they were meant to be together. She had to be patient though; Maggie spent nine weeks with ABR undergoing heartworm treatment and recovering from several ailments. Maggie is now living in the country with her Boxer-loving parents and playful fur brother, Boss. She enjoys looking for deer during their daily golf cart rides and cuddling with her parents, who are thrilled to call her their own.

Nell

Nell found her forever home where she will enjoy her senior years. She is loved and very spoiled but ABR wouldn't have it any other way.

Lucky

Hooray!! After three months with ABR, Lucky got adopted! She went to a great single mom living with her extended family. There was a lot of love to go around! They recently lost their boxer boy and fell in love with her. With Lucky being such a doll, it's easy to see why. She even did great with their resident German Shepherd. It was hard to get a good picture of them for Happy Tails because Lucky just wanted to give kisses!

Frank

Frank found his forever home on July 23rd, 2010. Frank is living high with a fur sister Boxer named Roxy and even a feline resident. He walked right in his new place and immediately felt at home and gave his new owners his patented hug. He has a new collar, a big crate and a doggy bed. Frank's days will be filled with playing with Roxy, lounging around and going on outings with his new family.

Tessa

ABR is thrilled to report that Tessa has found the perfect forever home! You will remember how Tessa suffered from multiple infections and infestations, heartworms, and an ear infection requiring specialized surgery. Over several months she was nursed back to health by her foster mom, and finally her health issues were resolved and she was ready be adopted. While Tessa was struggling with her health issues, a very special lady was searching for the perfect companion. Tessa's adopter lost her 10-year old boxer last fall and did not think she could ever love again. Her friends knew if she didn't find another companion that her life would just not be full or happy so they pushed her to search for another boxer. When she saw Tessa on the ABR website it was love at first sight. Tessa has found her forever home with this wonderful lady who does not leave home without Tessa by her side (except to go to church - and she is having a talk with her pastor about a dog friendly service). The two take daily walks and trips around town comforting friends, entertaining neighbors and playing with new fur friends. The love that Tessa and her new mom share is inspiring. This is why ABR exists. We rescue dogs who in turn rescue people.

Scout

Scout was adopted by a phenomenal family and now has two skin brothers. His forever family says “It's like he's always been here. He's going everywhere with us. Tripp and Taylor adore him…We just love him!!”

Kamma

Kamma went to her forever home on June 19th. She was greeted with smiles from her new family and her new fur brother, Ollie. She also will be accompanied by two skin siblings. It was a joy to see Kamma jump right in the family SUV and started giving the skin siblings kisses. She will be in a home where she will be loved more than words can say.

Rocky

Rocky found his forever home on May 22 and this boy struck it rich! He now has a loving family to care for him, as well as a younger foster fur sister to romp around in the yard with! Rocky and his new sister Abby were instant friends and we could not be more thrilled for him!

Cooper

Cooper has gone to his new home with his new fur brother Elliott!  Elliott was also an ABR rescue dog in 2009 and he has been waiting oh so patiently for the right brother or sister to come along, so these two will have a lot to talk about over their shared doggie beds!

Ace

A wonderful man came to meet Ace. Ace was initially very protective of "his" foster house and not so nice towards him. Ace's new owner was very patient with Ace. They took a walk and came back best of buds. Ace has quickly adjusted to his new forever home and is doing great. We wish him a long, happy life in his forever home!

Nolan

After a stint in animal control and surgery for a bad leg, Nolan found himself a forever home where he can be a spoiled pooch all day long! Even with his rough start Nolan proved to be a trooper and is going to make his new Mommy very proud.

Ellie

Ellie is a welcome addition to our family. She gets along very well with our kids, Max and Julia, and has become a good younger sister to our Boston Terrier, Charlie. She is very lovable and is happy when she is outside, goes on car rides and plays with all of us. Ellie is a bit of a midnight snacker so we need to be sure we keep our eyes on her. She is our 50 pound lap dog. We are so happy to have her.

Memphis

ABR is so happy to say that this sweet, special boy has found his forever home! After coming to us through animal control we couldn't be happier that he now has found his place! Right from the start his foster family could tell he was something special. Memphis captivated the first family he met! He now has two skin brothers and even a feline friend! His new family has reported that he has settled in beautifully and they couldn't be happier!

Nova

So much to say about our sweet Casanova! Nova came to us through Animal Control. As soon as his foster mother laid eyes on him she knew he was special! He very quickly earned the name Casanova for being such a lover! Nova met his new family and they were instantly taken with him! It didn't take them long to see what the rest of us already knew! We recently recieved an update from the family saying that Nova has settled in perfectly! We couldn't be happier that this deserving dog found such a special home!

Rusty

Rusty was introduced to one of our foster homes’ sister’s family yesterday. He did great with the kids and cats. They loved him. Flash forward…They have now had him for 3 months. He is an integral part of their family. He goes for lots of car rides, follows his mom all over the house, gets walks and runs with his dad, and lots of help and training from his skin siblings. Yeah for Rusty!

Jack

What a match made in heaven! You see, Jack (now lovingly nicknamed "Jack the Sparrow" by his newly adoptive family), seemed to have chose his new family for himself. It appeared to be a match made in heaven from the first moment. Jack found himself instantly in love with his new Dad, continuously demanding to shake hands and showering him with kisses. He tried his best to win them over and did so, catching his new Mom and Dad off guard and falling head-over-heels in love. We are thrilled for Jack as he has hit the JACKpot with his new forever family!

Boss

Our gentle giant Boss, found his forever home on March 30th. ABR picked up Boss after he was rescued from a backyard chained outside in a yard. The chain was thick enough to pull a tractor. When Boss met his skin brothers it was love at first sight! Kisses were plentiful! He was very excited about going to his new home and he had no problem jumping in the back of his new family's SUV. We are so happy Boss found his forever home where he no longer will be living outside on a chain and will have enough love to last his lifetime!

Rocket

Rocket has found his forever home. From the moment they met Rocket, his mom and dad knew he was the one. He and "Coco" Chanel (his new fur sister) hit it off immediately. They played non-stop for an hour. Rocket and Coco will keep each other busy for a long time to come. Welcome home, Rocket!

Addy

Hurray for Miss Addy! After too much bouncing around in her short life, our sweet mama, Addy, has found her forever home! Addy was welcomed into her new home with toys, treats, a new bed, and everything a dog could want! Her new mommy was so gentle and loving and Miss Addy just ate that up! After meeting her new dad and getting some treats Addy showed that she was ready to play! Considering the heartbreaking start for this girl we couldn't be happier that this sweet girl has found a truly perfect forever home!

Ozzie

Ozzie's days of wondering if he would ever have a loving forever family are over! Congratulations to our sweet boy - he now has the carefree and comforting family life he has longed for!

Judge

Judge has gone to his forever home and he was so happy with his new family he just couldn't stop wiggling when they came to meet him. The boys were great with him and will definitely give him more love than he can handle. He has an awesome new Falcons collar and leash to show off and the boys play baseball so he'll get to go with them to the ball field and meet their friends.

Emmitt

Emmitt is one lucky dog! He has a new family with a retired mom and dad who are able to spend lots of time with him. Emmitt's new fur sister, Arcee doesn't mind sharing their sweet set-up. They have a cushy dog bed front and center in the family room. Emmitt's new family lives on a farm with loads of room to run and play. (Even a few bovine friends to meet!) According to Emmitt's new mom, their new four-legged family member "acts as if he has always been here." He even has grandchildren to play with. This sweet boy, who once suffered from separation anxiety now has a loving family who is able to work with Emmitt to keep his tail happy!

Harley

Harley went to his forever home on March 13th.  Harley came in with his bud Spanky along with three other strays wandering the streets.  It was hard to believe Harley was homeless as handsome as he is.  Harley is in a very loving home with his moms and three fur siblings.  He has a large back yard to play in and he is going to be very happy!  We could not ask for a better home for this handsome boy!

Otis

We couldn't be happier that Otis found his forever home. He will be an only child and he is loving every minute of it. Otis absolutely adores his new mom and dad and has his own papasan chair where he can look out the window. Otis's new mom says she loves when she comes home from work because he greets her at the door and is so happy to see her. He also loves to snuggle in bed. We couldn't ask for a better home!

Spanky

Spanky, now Elvis, is living it up at his forever home! His new owners say it's like he's always been there. Elvis now has two doggie siblings to play with, as well as two skin sisters...life is good. According to the family, Elvis has become somewhat of a poster child for ABR in his new community and is enjoying his newfound celebrity status.

Kimbo

Kimbo who found his forever home, absolutely adores his new skin brothers and could not stay still long enough to take a picture because he wanted to keep giving them kisses! They were so excited and even had a name tag ready to go with his name on it! A follow up call came the next morning from his new mom saying how great he was doing with everything and all the adjustments, and how much her boys can't stop loving on him!!! Kimbo is very happy in his new home and will be recieving lots of love and attention.

Petey

Petey, now called Jaeger, came to ABR with the deepest cuts we have ever seen around his neck and body. He was picked up by ABR and taken immediately to Paces Ferry Animal Clinic where Dr. Whittle stitched him up and took a BB out of his leg. We are not sure what happened to this poor boy, but he has found his forever home. His new mom fell in love with him the minute she saw him. He will be going to a home where he will have fur siblings to play with and more love than you could imagine. We are so thankful he found his forever home and thankful for Paces Ferry Animal Clinic.

Bandit

Bandit, the adorable pooch that stole everyones heart, went to his forever home where he now spends his days hanging out with his new buddy and romping in the yard, and then when they're a little tired, they curl up on the dog bed together and dream of their next play date. We're happy for Bandit and his new family - a match made in doggie heaven.

Rosie

Hi ABR Family! My ABR name has been Rosie but my foster parents have officially changed it to Maci - that's because they are adopting me! You see, Dr. Cary removed a fast-growing cancerous tumor from my side so the good folks at ABR are going to let me live out my life with my foster family. My new family consists of my sister, Mini (an ABR rescue), Rudi, my Boston Terrior brother (also a rescue), Chavez, my cat (a rescue that thinks he is a dog) and my FAVORITE sibling - a 5-yr old girl. Don't be sad for me because I am with a family that LOVES me and I am getting along fine. I love to eat, sleep, and play outside. In the recent snow I made my Mom laugh out loud because I would jump high enough to bust up a snowball with my nose! The louder she laughed, the higher I jumped! My Mom says she will keep yall posted on me - right now I'm happy because I'm full and warm all snuggled on the couch while my Mom types. I'm one of the lucky Boxers who actually made it out of animal control. Love, Maci.

Molly

Miss Molly went to her forever home in February! Her family just knew she was the "one" from the very moment they saw her picture on the ABR website! Molly has someone to be with her all the time, which is what she loves, and a skin brother who simply adores her. She sleeps with him every night and she knows she is safe and loved. Molly lets her skin brother know it with doggy kisses all the time! Life is looking great for Molly!

Greta

Greta - now named Abby, is now settling into her foster home, where she has made claim to the loveseat as her favorite place to sleep. This girl has bought much joy into the lives of her family after the loss of their boxer last year. We are happy that this has been such a good fit all round.

Nellie

Nellie, the beautiful, sweet, loving, wiggle butt went to her forever home on February 18, 2010. Nellie travelled to McDonough to meet her new family. She was greeted by the mom and their 5 lb poodle, Cooper. Nellie and Cooper were quickly romping in a wonderful yard. Nellie even jumped down a ~4 ft retaining wall like it was a step. The mom quickly called her 10 year old daughter outside to meet Nellie. Nellie quickly thereafter rolled over for a good belly rub. When the Dad came home, they put on her new pink zebra & bone collar and leash to go for another walk. They are all thrilled to have Nellie join their family!

Jackson

It was love at first sight! Jackson found his forever home, where he will be king of the castle. This refined pup, that somehow ended up in animal control, will now be living in the lap of luxury with a stay at home Dad and a Mom who dotes on him. He's such a deserving dog. Yay for Jackson!

Duke

From Duke's new family:

Duke...now Macallan or a.k.a. "Mic" is doing great! What a sweet, gentle, loveable and handsome boy he is!! His fur brother Cabo has decided he's not so bad after all. They egg each other on to play, then nap, then play, eat, play and nap! His skin sister loves his boxer kisses. Mic has made our family whole again after the loss of Morgan to cancer a couple of months ago. We are so blessed to have him and we thank Atlanta Boxer Rescue and his foster parents for rescuing him.

Ryder

Ryder, the lovebug/drool monkey/wigglebutt extraordinaire, found his forever home on January 17. His new family had lost their two previous dogs -- a Boxer and Boxer mix -- to cancers not long ago and wanted to have that unending Boxer love back in their lives. Ryder met them and quickly settled into his usual companion routine with them, winning everyone over. He also gained a new little brother, a French Bulldog puppy named Rocco with whom he loves to romp and box, with all the gentleness of a loving big brother. Happy tails to Ryder, lil' Rocco and their parents!

Maddie

We are so happy to say that Maddie found her forever home on January 16th! This sweet and very well-mannered lady was welcomed with open arms into her new home! As soon as she arrived she was met at the car by a very excited new mommy! After a quick walk, she went in to meet her skin sister! Everything went wonderfully! Her new mommy couldn't stop smiling as she watched Maddie explore her new home! Maddie then stretched out on the carpet and made herself right at home as her mommy signed paperwork! We at ABR feel like this sweet older lady truly has found her perfect forever home! Though she will be missed, we couldn't be happier for her!
